A collar is something very personal. I really don't think you can beet shopping in person where you can look, feel, try on and discuss with the seller/maker. Therefore since your in Tewkesbury I would recommend going to the Birmingham Bizarre Bazaar. It's a market for all your kinky needs. Lots of stalls selling a huge variety of lovely collars (we got Mrs Misfit day collar there, as well as other lovely things). There you will also be able to get great advice from the traders on sizing and maintenance. Also it's a lovely day out with a live kink demonstration in the afternoon to be entertained by. Its on near the city centre on a Sunday every few weeks. Just Google Birmingham Bizarre Bazaar for the website and details of the next one. |

Places like the BBB mentioned or LAM if you want a nice one or someone who can make you one to spec on Etsy or similar. The ones from Sex shops are generally very poor quality for non BDSM. Think about the material and optimal lining material and metals , I like leather and fur with chrome , width /height ? , if you want buckle or press studs , I prefer buckles and any personal symbols or designs. |

You may want to consider what the collar signifies to you both.
If its just for play you don’t need a day collar, and if you really want to you can get away with using a dog collar from a pet shop, just make sure you measure the neck size correctly. The added bonus is you can get a lead and name tag at the same time, as well as other pervertables.
If you don’t want a pet collar then there are lots of makers out there who will make bespoke collars for you, or you can pick one up ready made. Prices will vary so do some research into what you are after to avoid wasting money. |
