Introduction to clubs

(This is gonna be a little lengthy)

Okay so ive been on and off fab for several years now, met a few ppl here and there but it was purely through messaging. These days i would be more interested in socialising in person to meet new ppl rather than the farce of profile searching, sending out messages etc. Cos although im only 30 im still kinda old fashioned and prefer the old ways of dating and hooking up before social media was so ingrained into our lives.

But, i have a problem with social anxiety and trust issues, theyve become more prevalent in recent years. I want to try and gain back lost ground, and be able to nullify the anxiety gradually over time by getting myself out there.

While i have issues with anxiety it mostly depends on where i find myself, im much more comfortable in social environments when i have a "buddy", without one im extremely quiet and wont speak much while around a group of total strangers.

So to get myself out there more while also enjoying the swinging scene (cos lets face it i love sex and have a high sex drive like practically everyone on this site), id like to go to some clubs and/or social events and meet new ppl, but id also like to go with (or as) a plus one. Someone i can feel comfortable with and can help me gradually come out of my shell at social events and introduce me to other ppl. It should go without saying that i would like them to be female and i feel some level of attraction between us would be helpful for the whole process as well, but there doesnt need to be any intention of sleeping with each other. A good friendly rapport, trust, and being comfortable around each other is more important.

However i honestly dont know where to start, so ive come to the forum. Ideally i would like this "plus one" to be relatively local within wales, and being reliant on public transport (until i can get my car fixed, way off yet) clubs/meets would need to be local as well, unless transport is already covered.

Feel free to ask any questions, happy to talk privately if youd prefer

North West

Not quite a plus one… but for example townhouse, for their events they create kik groups in the run up to it so you get to meet everyone online first.

Lots of people meet for pre drinks as a group and arrive together.

The hosts make a point of meeting you and giving you a tour and get you a drink.

It’s all really friendly

I personally think that’s a much better way of doing it rather than relying on one person to attend with. X

Townhouse would be too far unfortunately cos thats up in the northwest. Ideally i wanna remain more local within wales or even as far as bristol but thats pushing it for me. I know theres only chameleons in wales but thats all i know of at least from the site. London could work but thats if and when im done there visiting family
