Club advice what to wear
Jump to: Newest in thread
I cant offer specific advice on what to where but based on our experience club goers turn up in smart casual. The kind of things you wear on a nice night out. With sexy underwear underneath.
The only exception being if it's a party theme night then they will have a specific dress code.
Most clubs have rules that you must dress down to underwear after a certain time - say 10pm and you must be dressed down in the play areas. |

It depends on the club. At the ones I know, it's normal going-out clothes to start with, although you can go with the more revealing end of that if you like. At some point in the evening people start dressing down. You'll notice when that happens. Dress-down can be optional, but there might be rules about not entering play areas fully dressed.
Some clubs are dress-down on arrival. I haven't been to one of those, but I would guess it doesn't matter what clothes you arrive in, because you'll only be wearing them for a few minutes.
For dress-down, it's easy enough for men: boxers or whatever, or a towel. I'm more comfortable in a towel, since they cover me a bit more (and I've usually been in the hot tub by that point).
For women, it's generally lingerie. Something sexy, but most importantly, something you feel comfortable in - you'll be walking around in it in front of strangers. Once you're there and surrounded by other people wearing very little, you might find yourself feeling more daring than you thought you'd be, so it might be worth bringing a few options.
At my regular club, it's OK to wear a bikini in the hot tub (or just the bottom, or even knickers that you don't mind getting soaked). But that might raise eyebrows at other clubs. Most people go naked.
If you say which club you're going to, someone who knows it should be able to help with the specifics. |

"wear causal, comfy, easy to take off put back on, easy for others hands to get in/out, nothing sluty
Like a dressing gown or shellsuit ?
I totally disagree with casual, comfy, nothing slutty !"
Great, but we are all different. |

Best bet - assuming it's not a dress down club - is to make an effort. Wear something that makes you feel good, as if you feel good, you'll look good and feel more confident.
People who make the effort to dress nicely always stand out from the jeans & polo shirt brigade. |

I go to clubs regular and I wear whatever the hell I want to to socialise, wether it be a dress or jeans and a nice top. Just wear what you feel comfortable in, you’re not forced to wear anything you wouldn’t want to. After around 10pm I dress down into some nice lingerie, again whatever you feel comfortable with, some like to show more than others it’s just personal preference and the person who’s said wear summit easy for someone’s hand to slip in obviously hasn’t been to a club before |

For me, I start the evening in comfortable - so dress, underwear not lingerie, etc. For me, it’s typically something stretchy that shows my curves and makes sure nobody mistakes me for a slim person, so I’m giving the right impression from early on. Dressing down, typically, is a full change of clothes to a babydoll or negligee. Put a robe over the top if you want to.
Expect your makeup to take some damage from hot tub, sweat, etc. Most places ask you to clean your face before the hot tub.
Have you thought about a curvy girls night for your first event? Most club nights are friendly, but the curvy ones, IME, have a really really positive vibe. |

"So we have decided to dip our toes into the club scene. As a female what do u wear and when do u get changed or remove some clothing."
I'm a big fem,
So I take a few outfits, depending on how I feel for that night.
Wearing a dress/trousers, tops before play and taking a few outfits for dressing down - play dress, stockings, lace/sheer kimono for covering parts of the body you aren't happy with .... |

"We cant seem to find any curvy girls nights "
Chameleons in Darlaston holds regular BBW events .They have rooms you can book to stay overnight too. There's also hotels nearby if you're travelling distance.

It's a bit of a trek, but ClubF's Curvy nights are always the highlight of my month.
... and after a bit of searching, HU9 have a profile here, "hu9_socials_x_events", and they appear to have a BBW night on the fourth Thursday each month. That might be a little more practical for you. |

When we have been in the past I tend to like lots of layers so depending how warm it is or how brave I feel I can lose a few things here and there x
Like a baby doll slip over a matching set or a fancy silky shorts set over some nice underwear.
Some ladies have shear dressing gowns it’s nice to have if the club is a little cooler in the social areas at the start of the night x
Have fun, we always go with the idea we will enjoy each other’s company anything else would be a bonus. We like people watching so it’s always a good night x |

I'm about a 26, and I've found I don't suite lovehoney stuff (it always looks odd on me somehow). Shein go up to 26, Simply Be do some decent bits up to a 30, Princess Lace Boutique do some great bodystockings.
I've had lingerie from Asda and M&S, some of my favourite bits are from Asda. |

If you go to The Attic on a Saturday night, you'll always find a few other curvy girls there - along with pretty much every other shape and size you can think of. Main thing is, nobody cares. It's not one of those clubs where you have look a certain way to fit in, everyone is welcome, regardless of gender, age, orientation, size, appearance, race etc. |

Got to agree, went to a party recently, guys in jeans & shorts?????
I prefer 'dress to impress' if you not going to dress up, then what else will you not bother to do? Shower????? |

I like to wear something classy but sexy. I never strip down and remove all as some places aren't like that I may go down to a sexy body suit or stocking. Have a look at some of mine may give you an idea. The black outfit. Red dress etc |

We recently visited for our first time - I wore jeans and a body suit , which is something I would have worn out as well!
I avoided saunas and hot tubs for the make up reason lol
I wouldn’t be comfortable in undies / sexy lingerie so I just wrapped a towel round me ! |
