Don't waste our time!

They said. I went for my very first meet with a couple last night it was 2am and they said get here as soon as possible. Ring this number when you get to a certain pub and we'll tell you where to go. Against my better judgement I thought I won't get a better opportunity to just jump in the deep end and go with the flow and see what happens. So I go to where they said to go, text them and wait, I text again about 5 mins later altogether I'm waiting there 35 mins now starting to get a bit cold. So I walk home and wake up to not even an apology or explanation as to why this happened, is this the kind of thing to expect on here? Told to not waste someone's time then have mine wasted? Anyways I hope you all have a better weekend than i'v had lol

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

That sort of behaviour is pretty crap. However, who would arrange to meet someone at 2am without knowing where they were going?

That is one of those times where you start from the premis the you are going to be messed around and if you are not its a bonus.

At least it was a walk and an hour or so, not a drive and a cost in money terms.

My guess is they were somewhere near the pub looking out of their bedroom getting off on you standing waiting.

Yeh there are some nasty people on here, but there are some nice ones too.

Maybe they were expecting the phone to *ring*, and their text alert was on silent?

I strongly suspect they were up for it but fell asleep before you got there.

Yes as I have got all dressed up, wasted my petrol and time sat in a pub car park for someone who hasn't shown or even read my messages. And to think I could have been doing housework instead

Shame you got messed about. We have heard several guys get similar offers and those who turned up never got anywhere. Sounds like to me it was someone having a laugh

Good you not letting it get you down as there are lots of genuine people out there. Good luck x

If someone told me to meet them in the dead of night outside some pub I wouldn't complain if they didn't turn up. Just like I'm not complaining about the £10k I've paid in admin charges to Prince Mafumbo from Nigeria awaiting the £100m he promised me.

If it seems too good to be true...

If they asked you to ring their number, why didn't you? You stood around for 35 minutes with nothing else to do after all. I'm not saying it would have definitely worked but why would you not at least try if that was the arrangement?

So at 2 in the morning you thought a meet with someone you'd not even spoken to was a good idea? Seriously I'm amazed that that could possibly have gone wrong.
