Hidden Profile..

Can somebody plz explaine to me how you can receive mail from members who are not on your friends list when you have hidden your profile over 36hrs before??

You've still got public pics so they'll see those and message you.

If you want to completely hide then you have to make all your pics private and filter all messages. It's the only way.

Or they've clicked your profile from a forum post or a verification you've left someone...

Basically if they can get to the "this member has hidden their profile" page then they can still mail you

So what is the point in having the option to take a small break and hide your profile then if people can still contact you. This needs looking into.

As stated above, go to mail preferences on your profile and enable ALL filters

With respect i should not have to do all that. If you go to Account... Privacy... Hide Profile it says you can hide your profile and people looking will read its been suspended. It says nothing about you will still be able to receive mail. I think it needs updating and making clearer.

Some of us appreciate being able to stop most of the random messages by hiding your profile, whilst still being able to send and receive messages with friends.
