Hey guys,

I've recently updated our profile.

Yet we arent having much if any success.

Any tips and pointers greatly received.

I know its a bit long but its short than it was.

Your profile text is fine. I only looked at the first page of photos but the only suggestion on photos would be to have one of you together.

It may be that the school and the fact we're still in a pandemic, are limiting the number of interested people.

We do in friends only but its a face pic. We also have a public video. Thanks for your feedback.

I appreciate some people may not be meeting. Maybe this is it. I guess cos I'm testing so often im a bit more relaxed.

I have never had much success putting meet requests up. So possibly it is that and nothing to do with your profile.

I have had much more success pre covid by making the requests via my status...

I like your profile as I quite like a decent write up on the text bit. However I think I maybe in the minority and others may skip as it comes across as too long.

Maybe add a bit more focused on who you are looking for as one paragraph. Then underneath the rest of the text as it is.

Pictures will attract or not, so the ones you have are sufficient in my opinion.

It’s great that you’ve put in a lot of effort so I hope you do find those play partners you’re looking for.

This was an issue pre covid too.

Tbf we are happy with socials and chatting too. People don't even want to chat.

Don’t cut it down, just part one and part two.

Too many people contact me with a very basic text, total turn off. It’s great to see some effort and plenty of information for those you’re trying to attract.

I can't see much 'wrong' with your profile OP. Maybe go to clubs to meet people or find and attend socials being organised in your area instead of setting up a social event yourselves?

Personally I like a long/detailed profile. I feel that it draws a good 'pen picture' of personality as well as what you want and don't want.

I think you could cut it down a bit with some editing. For example you say he likes intelligent conversation and twice you say she likes intelligent conversation

This could be condensed into "we both enjoy intelligent conversation"

Our local party event just shut down. There's very few clubs in this area. The South West scene isn't great in terms of clubs and parties and covid shut most of them for good.

Thanks. I've been slowly cutting it down for a while cos it was war and peace at one point haha. Hard to make the point we want to make and keep it brief.

It’s a decent, informative profile OP

Ours was very long when we first started on Fab and I’ve (V) slowly adjusted it over time.

It’s still probably too long for some but we feel it’s a fair assessment of who we are and what we’re looking for.

Hope things pick up for you both x
