"I've read a fair few bios, but I've tried to set mine out by being me. May I ask the good people of this forum what they think?"
It seems to lack a sense of character to me, feels a bit desperate in places which I’m sure isn’t the intention. I just got a view of someone who would be persistently be offering free massages and hugs, perhaps to the level of annoyance.
I like profiles where you get a sense of the persons humour, self confidence etc... perhaps something that entertains a little.
Hope you take that as constructive, it’s how it’s meant x |

Interesting. Useful! I felt quite relaxed when I wrote it out ("free hugs" was meant as a silly joke TBH). It's funny how intentions don't always translate well to text.

It's a long profile that doesn't say a lot but repeats itself often
I'd also remove the bit about no photos & lockdown weight as you have photos now & the weight well, you've either lost it or you haven't so just share photos that represent you as you are now as presumably it won't be gone by mid august |

For me a profile is 75% photos and 25% text, as the text is generally ignored by the majority of messages I receive.
Do you think those photos show you in the best light ?
If not, do you think that person will be bothered to read the text afterwards ?
Gay and Bi guys will message, so put filters up rather than add to text they won’t read.
It’s your profile it’s should always be organic, so if it ain’t working change it  |

They need to be attracted to you mate. We can’t be everyone’s cup of tea, just block those you don’t match with, and those who politely turn you down, and move on. It narrows your search to people you’re more likely to find a connection with |
