Daylight dogging is a huge risk, especially when you consider families could be about.

Is it normally daylight dogging or nightime?

They patrol the beach regularly now, we stopped going a while ago because of this, the police even drive up and down the beach at night more these day's which has stopped the dogging a lot

To be fair that article was written 4 years ago so it would be interesting to know what the current police views in Central Lancashire are

Surprised you managed to find a day sunny enough to go.

We go to Ainsdale dunes every year. We drive onto the beach, turn left, drive all the way to the bottom barrier and then walk through until the third wooden post. Then turn left and go up into the dunes. Find a nice hollow and then lay the towels out.

To begin with, we're clothed although Suzie will wear a very skimpy bikini. If we are confident with our surroundings and the 'safe' nature of the voyeurs then Suzie will strip off out of the bikini in front of the audience. We have over the previous two years had a bit of play too.

Thing is, we have always only been midweek, daytime when all the kids are still in school and we feel much safer for doing so. Have heard the police quad bikes on the beach but never seen the rangers about in the dunes unless that's a new thing.

Around 2005 there was a clamp down but doubt Merseyside Police have the resources for it now.

Thanks for the tip though. Many other couples still go?

Just be glad it was a ranger who found you and not a group of teenagers, they would've ripped the piss out of you, and probably got some pics of it too!
