Hi all,
We are interested in going to a BDSM club, but a bit scared! lol.
We are in Maidstone, Kent but happy to head into London/Brighton etc
Looking for a couple to meet up with for a social and then go with us to a club to show us around and help us feel less nervous!
We have been to a number of swinging clubs but never BDSM
Hope someone can help

Most people we know think TG has become a victim of it's own success. There are still play areas but it's very much about posing.
Most of the clubs in London are monthly or bi monthly club nights and a lot depends on what you are looking for. You have just missed Decadence (last weekend), there as Anti-Christ in 2 weeks but unless you like alt/goth/metal might not be your thing. If you do it;'s a good starting place as there are several music rooms (and plenty just there for that) plus a dungeon and a couples room.
If you are nervous munches are probably a good starting point as you can meet people in a more vanilla environment.

Like most swing venues if your new the organisers will be happy to do a tour and introduce you to suitable folks. The dungeons at clubs like these will have DM's, Dungeon Master/Mistresses/Monitors who are there to explain how things work and that they are used safely. Talk to them they are there to help. |

Torture Garden, whilst the parties are awesome events, are not really about the BDSM scene anymore. They are more about very pretty people, dressing in amazing outfits, showing as much flesh as is possible. And trust me it is quite a lot of flesh sometimes. However, the Brighton ones I have attended are less poser ish. I'd suggest finding a BDSM munch or social rather then going to a specialist club, especially if you are not sure what aspect of kink you are into yet. |

Last time we went to Abfabs it was a fetish night with some of the kinda things you may be looking for going on in the dungeon area, I think they do have a specific BDSM night also, details probably on website x |

Or most Monday nights when we are there
