Hi guys
Looking to go first club or event but we are complete newbies . What’s best club for very laid back approach. We don’t want to have to walk through the door wearing next to nothing we a bunch of people we don’t know. We want a bit of class not a tacky pub / brothel atmosphere with dirty mattresses on the floor .
We are in south west but happy to commute few hours in any direction
Thanks |

Obviously we want to meet new people . I think you miss understood my question... if you read it again I asked where the best place was that had a ‘relaxed atmosphere’ and not one where we had a tacky pub atmosphere and where we have to strip down on entry |

Best advice I can give is look at the club reviews, and their websites. Should give you a fairly balanced view of what they're all like.
And don't forget a club changes from night to night depending on the people. If you're not keen on the vibe on one particular night go back and give it another go, it can totally change! |

But you’ve never been to one, and you’re kind of implying some, all, most, clubs are tacky....
If you’re serious about going, being a little more open minded would pay dividends |

This!
We have been to many clubs within the UK and have yet to find ANY swinging club that is quote “We want a bit of class not a tacky pub / brothel atmosphere with dirty mattresses on the floor".
It's a very judgemental statement considering you have never even been to any clubs before.
Maybe do your own research and due diligence on the different types of nights / events etc, before going to a club so your expectations aren't unrealistic but more tempered to the reality of clubs and the scene.
Good luck on your adventures

I appreciate what your view and don’t mean to offend anyone . I have looked at many clubs online and in my opinion they look like the kind of places I’ve described . Like you say I’ve never been to a club so I’m asking for suggestions from people like your self who have been and I assume out of the clubs you have been too some were better than others . I just don’t want our first experience being in one of the places that would be lower on your guys list as it would probably end up being our first and last visit to a club . |

One other thing I might add. Always worth trying to find someone to accompany you on your first visit. Someone to calm the nerves, someone to talk to when you're in there and show you the ropes. And someone who'll respect your limits for your first night there and not push you into anything you don't want to do!
