Am probably over thinking this but would welcome women’s thoughts. If you read a message but don’t reply, nor is the message deleted - does this mean anything?

It means I’ve read it.

I often don’t bother deleting.

I don't get a whole lot of messages, but tend to not delete unless they are blockable offenses (outright rude, crude, etc). In general, I read and leave unread if i find them boring, not not to my taste, or think they are copy and paste--that way, when the sme message appears again, it's obvious. Messages from guys I want to get back to, I mark as unread so I know I want to respond when I get the time.

Everyone is different, though. Send another message (very different! or we know it's a generic one sent to everyone) if you have the time, or just move on.

Honestly, we don't ALL get a lot of messages, but some do. It's a lot of hit or miss here.

I imagine could be for lots of reasons but try not to dwell on it, bottom line is if they didnt reply its usually because they are not interested one way or the other. Read or deleted its all the same. Can be frustrating especially if you know you put together a well written msg to not even receive an acknowledgement but thats part of the fab package until men become the minority which will never happen

Everyone is different, but as the general rule of thumb on this site. Read but not responded is simply they are not interested.

If I don't delete it there can be a number of reasons but usually it means either I am not sure about the person and want to think about it or I am busy and am waiting for some free time to send a decent reply as I like the look of them

I very rarely delete messages , it's useful to be able to see when they send the identical copy & paste message again a few days/weeks later.

Ultimately, if I get a message from a profile that interests me I will reply. No reply means I'm not interested.

If you look in your sent box, if it's been deleted by the recipient the subject title is scored through & it says 'deleted'

Either one of us open our messages and they can stay there for days until we’ve both read and discussed them.

Occasionally we’ll get a huffy message if we haven’t replied quickly enough but we have lives outside of Fab.

I hate that - had a few huffy messages because I haven't replied within an hour

hiding from cock pics.

It doesn't mean anything, if they are interested they will reply and let you know.

That's the only situation that means they are interested in my view

I really can't understand why you don't get many messages? I know most ladies here get overwhelmed?

Regards question asked in thread. Optimistically I regard it as a positive sign. Maybe the lady has enough on her plate at the time and is not interested but has put it to one side to revisit at a later date when she has more time and will check the guy/couple out then? Or is this wishful thinking on my behalf?

Tatooine

1) Message deleted and no reply: Polite thabk you but a no thank you, if I change my mind I know you exsist.

Message not read: (See number 1) or I get shit load of messages and have not got time to read it and already know I will not want to.

I like to talk to you on the forum and to polite or do not want to hurt your feelings but, just can't be bothered with messages with you.

There could be loads of reason, just move on.

Norfolk! NOT

Never delete messages as if that person ever messages again, your can see previous history of messages.

Recently had a guy message the identical message 9 weeks apart.

He obviously gets no reply or if I'm bored I will ask bluntly why he is sending duplicate messages and that I ignored his message the first time because I wasn't interested and had he read our profile he would know this as it is stated on our profile, no reply = no interest.
