"I recently changed to Vodafone network but it wont allow me to connect to fab saying it is an unsafe site..anyone had the same problem?"
Do you have Vodaphone Secure net switched on ?
I had problems and I hadto contact them by phone to sort it out. |

"You can phone them and ask for the adult block to be taken off. They are businesslike about it so no embarrasment!
You then have to restart your phone." This seems to apply to all mobile services especially when you change suppliers. I've had it with Asda and laterly Plusnet. But a call to them asking for the block to be removed sorts it. |

I have problems with it still unfixed if I try to use fab off my mobile and not my house WiFi I can’t. Iv been meaning to ring and get it done properly but haven’t got round to it but simply trying to change the adult restrictions manually does not work! |

It has to be done over the phone and can’t be done manually cause the network has to prove that it’s taken measures to prove the user is over 18. If you could just do it in an app then a minor could potentially do it. That’s why they aren’t allowed

If for whatever reason you can't contact their support to unblock the adult filters (work contract etc), then a couple of other ways are possible too.
VPN works as this hides the site addresses you go to. Usually have to pay for this service however.
Onion browser. Same as above but free. Some will work, others wont.
Use the Opera Mini browser, as this sends all of your browsing through their servers only so your phone network doesn't know where you are going. Note, this is free but they (Opera company) are probably collecting browsing habit data as they do this. It works like a proxy server you don't have to setup yourself.
Each of these methods by pass the poorly designed blocks that phone and internet companies have to put into place. |

As long as you are already verified as an over 18 customer you can switch it on and off in the password controlled MyVodafone app.

With Three and EE as well. Three unmitigated disaster (the account management app crashed when I tried to enable adult content). Very simple to fix: use a VPN. I use proton VPN (free) others are available... get the app from the VPN provider and switch on before going to FS. Easy |

Voda are a bit big brotherish when it comes to VPNs on their broadband network though weirdly not on their mobile one. Web searches will not let you follow links to providers of VPN services. I had to login to the router and change the DNS servers away from Voda to Google’s to be able to even get to Surf Shark’s web page to purchase. |

This is correct and I was also able to do it through the app |

This is true as well. But if you’re not pre-verified then you have to make the phone call first |

It does work via the app,you need to authorise a £0 payment on a card to verify your age. Reboot fone 10 mins later and its done |
