Hi - random one, I don’t often do anal but when I do I occasionally feel a bit rough for a few days after. I recently had it and I’ve had stomach cramping from morning to night. I’ve spoke to a few people who said they’ve had this too - anyone else experience this? It’s really agony. And no, I’ve not perforated my colon - symptoms aren’t that severe I had a look online to check. Any remedies would be massively welcomed too!!! |

Interesting - my friend had the same experience a few weeks ago, did anal and had stomach cramping for a few days - I’m in the same situation this week. It’s like it’s totally affected my gut!!! |

Thank god it’s not just me I’ve had anal a fair few times but this has by far been the worst experience - two days and I’ve just been bent over (lol) in pain. |

Hi all,it will be trapped wind pushed up there, it seems strange how that happens but it will be that, and yes it can feel unpleasant, but a relax in a warm bath and a walk should release it, hope this helps |

I think positions can influence it, so experiment a bit. I think the air is part of it but also the contortio/compression, combined with the effects of body parts being slammed, which don't typically have the types of nerve endings we have on our external body areas. |

Generalised abdominal cramps after anal intercourse may be due to irritation of the peritoneal ligaments which attach to the viscera (i.e. the organs and structures in your abdomen) - see Herxheimer / runner's stomach for more information.

I've only had a little pain after I have douched too much and probably left some water inside. So now I try to limit how much water I use with douching and not had a problem. |

I do orgasm from anal so I weigh up the very slight risk of infection and decided that it's worth it.
The maincauses of infection come from switching from anal to vaginal penetration which can lead to kidney infection so don't switch back. |

There should be more information on this online - I googled it and there is nothing on it at all, it all comes up with IBS or “Risks of anal” with only like major life threatening stuff. Not - sometimes when you do anal you get an infection or filled with air and it’s sore for days. |

I’ve been swearing by that, I actually had some red wine tonight as sometimes it gets things moving. The weird thing is I’ve had anal quite a lot and although had a little bit of blockage pain never quite this severe so god knows what I did!!!! |

Natural yoghurt might help and I swear by peppermint tea for any IBS symptoms. Hope you feel better soon lovely xx"

Bit late to the party here but just thought I'd throw my experience in. I've met a few ladies who absolutely love anal and others where it was a definite NO! Being an obliging sort Ill always go with the lady's wishes. Obviously it just doesn't suit everyone's physiology so you have to respect the recipients wishes?
