When i ask to see a face pic and when received i don't find them attractive i always send a message saying 'your not my type but thank you'....
....kinda felt bad at first because i sounded like a bitch! But surely its better than block or ignore??
Im not one of those 'oh i don't care what you look like aslong as your nice on the inside' type of people. i need to find Atleast a little instant attraction else i couldn't ever play!
Am i wrong in thinking this?

I agree prefer to be told we don't appeal as we all can't be for everyone can't be bothered with rude people just ignoring or blocking us my motto is tell the truth and shame the devil lol xx |

We always reply to emails, even if it's a thank you but your not our cup of tea. I too hated to upset/offend anyone but if there's no attraction there's no point in mid leading that person(s)
It costs nothing to sending a polite reply .  |

I also aim to do the same, rather than keeping people in the dark, trying to discover if they've been blocked etc. It's not telling someone they're ugly, it's not putting someone down, it's just saying 'no thanks'. Realise that others have been pestered with the demanding messages 'why not?' etc, and it's easy to be overloaded on here, but the decent people can normally be spotted and I prefer to treat others with respect and let them know. |

There's nowt wrong with telling people they are unsuitable for sharing your bed good lady.
What's the 3 alternatives?
-Delete and block? Funnily enough this is the option that makes most whingers piss and moan more than any other.
-Keep stringing the chancers along and giving them false hope? Not really fair in my opinion.
-Go along with it all and end up with a horrid smelly beast jiggling away on top of you? I think not...
So what you do probably causes the least grief to be honest.

Not in my opinion.....looks are paramount in this game....i dont wanna know if someone is nice to their mom, has a PHd in politics if they are aesthetically appealing to me thats all that matters |

I wouldn't say all that matters. You have to at least click with part of someone's personality and intellect to have sex with them. Fuckwits and miserable buggers won't get far! And if they have the turn ons in common with you, the same appetite for raunch and are sexually skilled to boot it also helps....

Well, your the kind of people i like. I always send face pic with my messages. But sometimes, i dont even get a no thanks or anything.
It only takes a second to reply back. I know if sometimes they dont reply back, it means no thanks. I dont have a problem with that, but its annoying when they say they reply to each email, and then they dont lol |

One of the reasons we never look at profiles with no pictures! If they can't put at least some kind of picture, then it aint gonna work! Forget all this "I have an important job" crap! Either you want to meet or not..
And to Popeye.. It may take single guys a second to reply to ALL their mails on a daily basis, but some people get more that one mail on here and on other sites, not to mention the rest of their lives!  |

I reply to everything but the offensive and obscene. It doesn't take that ling as I have a few stick phrases and also the volume has dropped to manageable, possibly because people who get a no thanks often pay attention and don't message again!
The annoying bit are the ones who ask why they're not my type or even worse, though thankfully rare, are the ones who tell me I'm not all that, that I'm arrogant to refuse them and that I'm actually a munter now they've realised that I won't shag anyone who offers!  |

I like the rule of infusions i think it was where i read it, and it may possibly apply to all clubs, no means no and never ask why, anyone that is asked should never give a reason and the person who is told no should never ask the question why...
Great rule maybe should be in the rules for this site, possibly take away the stress of having to say no and then get the usual " but why" follow up message that you feel you need to justify with another message that gets into a slanging match and bad feelings... |

I have found that it has paid off in the long run: my inbox is manageable as I don't get lots of repeat messages from people I've already turned down. A few forget, but I politely offer to block then to save it happening again and they either remember or say yes.
Anyone who gets snotty (such as the one who asked me if I thought I was.royalty  ) gets a block and isn't the sort of person I'd want to meet anyway and saves me!
The others are (I hope) all on good terms so if we should happen to meet at a club or social it would be pleasant. |

If theres no physical attraction i always try to reply with a thanks but you're not my type reply..
but sometimes you cant win as Ive had replies saying that they would rather be ignored if they are not my type as its less of a rejection than being told no  |
