I am an older guy - 74 tho I look a lot less. I have so far not succeeded on this site in meeting anyone or even having a cam session on msn or yashoo, which would be better than nothing. Am I baying at the moon hoping to have any success a all on here? I may be an older guy but I still have a high sex drive. |

Well Fred, from reading all the numerous age related forum threads, i'd say you have as much chance as many, not as good as some and better than a few.
I'm sure you'll have used the browsing facility and done a match on age that narrows down the group of people whom may meet you, and I'm sure a man of your age knows how to send a polite message to a couple or single lady that has a match to your requirements.
Many couples/lady's on threads like this state that they want to see a face pic, so if you haven't got one on your profile, or available to send with your messages, I'd suggest that you do so.
If you get no initial joy on FAB, try some of the Manchester swinger clubs, from which you will make friends and therefore FAB friends too, some of whom will leave you verifications.
I've also found taking part in the Forums an incredibly useful way to make contact with people, some of whom's profiles state that they don't chat to single guys but whom have made contact with me off thier own bat, thus opening opportunities.

Hi Fred, first of all we admire you for being on a site like this and for having the patience to see it through - you've been on here over a year already and that's a lot longer than a lot young guys would give it.
What Mark says above is absolutely right, especially what he says about clubs. Reading your profile (which is written in almost PERFECT English - and full marks for that) it is clear you are looking for/like the relationship side as much as much as sex. Hence, going to a club you will be able to strike up a conversation and make friends first, then see where it leads.
Only comments on your profile would be that we would drop the nude photos. By all means keep them private and if someone wants to see them, you can attach them to a message. But you are lacking a good - and we do mean GOOD - face pic. Do you have someone who could take one for you? And remember to smile!!! Lol!
The other comment we would have is that, at 74, your desired age range (30-65) is, sadly, a little unrealistic to us. Maybe 50-75 or even 55-75 would give a much better impression of you. At 30 someone could almost be your grandchildren, which does not look good - sorry, but has to be said 
Keep plugging away mate - it'll happen and don't ever start to think that you're too old for swinging either - I fully intend to be buried with a stonking hard-on at a great age!!

thanks both of you for the very useful and full replies. very generous of you both. I thought the nude pics would be a help to compensate for reactions to my age. I have a good face pic but becuase of my circumstances have never put it on for public to see and never even so far sent it. I shall think about that. you are right about my age searchess and I shall amend that, tho I thought some younmger women might have a "thing" about going with an older man. |

Fred - very dangerous (and in your case, time consuming) to make an assumption without having the facts or experience to back it up. Hence what Mark said about going to some clubs applies - you will be able to prove or disprove your assumption MUCH more quickly than you will on here.
As for the face pic, it is up to you whether you display it in the public gallery - but have a look at some of the profiles of guys in the 35-50 age range and see what they do about photos. Some of them have some VERY good pics showing enough to entice a response, but still maintaining the anonymity.

Well fred, you may not get the meets that a 30 year old adonis may get, but you keep going. Try not to think to much about your age. Im sure there are lots of women out there that like older guys (im in a relatinship with someone whose 69) |

Your right Fred, some younger women do have a thing for older men. If you go to the browse section and do a search under women that match your age, you'll get quite a few that come back. Of those you'll have to filter out the ones that say 18 to 99 as while you might get lucky, it's more likely they haven't reset the age limit, but some will come up that are 60 to 75 etc and that will make things easier for you too. |

Lol maybe just coz I love older don't mean I meet e everyone older lol its a good starting point but even older men have to show me they worth my very limited time just like I have to tick what ever boxes they man have for meeting a female lol he may not like me just as much as I may not like him

Fred be a new meet too lol and me and him have chatted and possibly gonna meet after school holidays and 55 is not set in stone I have met younger not much younger though and they have to have a special something about them so nothing to stop someone message me who not 55 just like I sometimes try my luck with someone who has a age range I slightly out of. Sometimes I get I no but not always lol |

a number is just that fred have fun on here and keep contacting the young ones if that is your preference, many want a father figure to meet.
Happy swinging fella and goto clubs you will meet good people there, who may not want to swing like on here but im sure they will know someone who does and will recommend you too them |

I think it's usually instinctive for most to put their age range at only 50, just to keep a lot of the really older guys away, but it doesn't means most wouldn't see guys over 50s. Just depends what they are like, as I wouldn't say no to Richard Gere and he is 63. |

I'll echo what others are saying, lots of women like older men. As you see I'm in my 60s and have met a number of women in their 20s. In fact most have been under 45.
Thinking about it, maybe it's just that older women are more fussy  |
