Im ok with erections mate but i have just started using a cock ring. I find it keeps you really hard if you place around your balls too. Only thing i would like to knkw is how long is it safe to use them for in on session. |

I have used heavy duty rubber bands on the base of my shaft which is great until your shaft and bellend turn dark purple and looks as though it's about to explode. I have also tried a large metal curtain ring around my cock but again it was too tight. I will probably invest in a proper cock ring that separates my shaft and balls. Decisions decisions lol.  |

Try a couple of elastic hair bands (you know the ones ladies with pony tails use), put them behind cock and balls. Because they stretch they are easy to get on and off. Cheapest sex aid, 10 for £1 from supermarkets! |

Yes I wear them and they help gain harder erections, provide more sensation but also help last longer.
To answer your question, I have lost an erection using and not using a cock ring.
They won’t guarantee that you will keep your erection, what you need to do is understand why you are loosing them and decide if a cock ring will help.
My immediate thought is to understand the why before trying any home made cock rings and ending in A&E trying to explain how you managed to have a curtain pole and ring stuck to your left bollock.
If you want to try one go for a partially stretchy rubber version you can get from most online retailers for sub £10.
If it works then try different versions from there. If you want a metal version, make sure you work out the right size... it’s not that getting on it’s the getting off that is the harder part

I use a metal one from Lovehoney. Measure carefully. I was surprised I needed the larger one they sell. I don't use it to maintain erections as I'm lucky I don't suffer in that department. I enjoy the look and the thicker girth. Mrs Sexploit enjoys it too. I've not used it with others.
I have read somewhere that you shouldn't use them regularly and for not more than 30 minutes at a time.

As a naturist I use cock rings for several reasons.
Adornment, because they look good.
Conversation starter, guaranteed.
Erection enhancer and sustainer.
I am wary of elastic ones as they can still stay tight when the cock might suddenly need a relief from their pressure. With a rigid ring of the correct size you know that it will never squeeze tighter than the size you have chosen. Mine are made from 48mm OD aluminium scaffold pole stock and machined to 40mm inside diameter.It can be frightening if you need a pee after ejaculation, for instance, and the tightness of an elastic ring prevents the flow.

The general advice appears to be a max of 30 mins, some sites say 20 mins.

I've got a few rings, metal and silicone ones. Metal ones look fantastic, silicone ones are easier to manage on and off.
The whole idea of the ring is too restrict blood flow away from the cock and maintain the erection, which is great, but can also be dangerous if you can't get it off and you begin to swell which may lead to a visit to get it cut off (the ring, not your cock).
I sent Mrs a video of a guy getting one cut off due to this, she said that would be me one day lol. If you've never tried one, I would suggest a stretchy silicone one first. |

Something else I've tried is a stainless steel o ring off ebay, only cost about a fiver and fits great. Mine are 50mm diameter to go around the cock and balls, but not as deep as the proper cock rings |

I’ve got 3 different types
