What is their attraction to people?
It has been explained to me as the ultimate in stranger sex, enabling one to be uninhibited without later embarrassment. 
I just find myself wondering how clean the place is?
If you only play safe how do you ensure that always happens?

Had to laugh recently when we visited a club and got chatting to a rather old and on the large side gentleman,he told us not to go in the darkroom as we would find people like him in there!!!

I think the fantasy of a dark room exceeds the reality. In my experience, a woman enters a dark room and is swiftly followed by all the 'aesthetically challenged' men who can't get to play any other way. Having seen the guys who frequent darkrooms in the hope of a grope I'm reluctant to play in there.
Also, one time Zed and I ventured into a dark room out of curiosity and discovered a large puddle of 'something' on one of the playing platforms. No idea what it was and I had no desire to find out. We left PDQ and let the staff know.
I'd consider a dark room with a few 'chosen' people but unfortunately, you'd get all sorts joining in and trying it on. Not for me thanks. |

Why not get a groups of friends together and everyone wear a blindfold? Um, make sure anything breakable/sharp is removed first... |

Tried a darkroom in a gay sauna once and quickly decided it was not for me....even the though of it makes me go queasy.
A darkroom is a darkroom so a swingers darkroom wouldn't be any better. |
