Good morning fab! I don't post many threads on the forum because of the dreaded forum police. However lately I've been noticing a lot more dicks on the site. And I don't mean actual dicks.. Just people acting like them. 
I've met some fabulous people on here and spoken to some not so great people. But lately there's been a huge rise in short messages like "hi how are you", abusive messages which are just from pathetic keyboard warriors, arrogant, selfish, pompous people who make little to no effort in their conversations and feel entitled to receive sex. And for me it's hard to stay on a place that doesn't make me happy. But we all have needs right?
Unfortunately fab has become a political platform for people and not in a positive way. People wanting to take control over the site which is just ridiculous in my opinion. And then there are the few genuine people who actually want to meet.
Lately there have been a lot of time wasters and fake profiles. And I just don't understand what those people get out of it? It's just so sad to me.
So let's shed some light in such a dark place. What has been your best experience and why? And feel free to pm me answers |

Fab is far less busy than it was pre covid - it’s noticeable everywhere on the site but particularly the forums. It’ll get better.
I’ve met some lovely men from here, just got to dodge the not so lovely men to find them.

For me meeting my partner here almost 5 years ago is the best thing.
During the lockdowns I've spoken to some genuinely lovely people who have offered me help if I need it ("due to isolating).
Shown me there are some gems on here still.

I agree, people are stressed out so not on their best behaviours.
I agree with La Luna, the trick is to dodge the bad eggs and focus on the good...
So I'm spending more time reading and posting on the Forums here and you do get a good sense of how some posters are more decent than others.
I've had a lot more winks and messages from peeps from right across the country which is lovely. A chance for a little chat and harmless flirt.
So I know these social interaction are virtual, but it does feel I've been connecting with people which is a natural human need.
Remember birds-of-a-feather... Stay positive and that vibe will attract others who are too... |
