I'm an Aussie too, back home I was quite partial to an accent as the rest of the world was so far away but to be honest since living here accents have lost their appeal a bit, maybe because all those far away countries are now a lot closer (well they were before Covid )

How many of you go weak at the knees for an accent?

Can't take the Welsh accent seriously, the new reporter could announce a catastrophic disaster and I'd have to giggle.
Irish and Geordie works for me though |

"I'm a Southerner so any Northern accent is exciting and sexy.
Internationally, I can't stand Australian accents and I don't like Italian. "
«Cries in Aussie»
Well, if you're referring to the Aussies on shows like Bondi Rescue, I agree Like fingernails on a blackboard to me lol... |

I find that any Irish accent is just my Achilles' heel. Posh English accents (I guess around the South and London area) and Australian also really get inside my head.
Scottish...depends on just how thick it is. Same goes for Yorkshire. I've heard some very soft Yorkshire accents that are really attractive.
American: if it's east coast, sure, if it's west coast, not a chance. |
