This is my area of expertise when it comes to problem solving and i was in the same boat as you.
First step to know what path to take is look at what your passions are.. so youre a geek.. like gaming and tech as such.. thats a good start youve already identified what would work for you
Second step is to focus on a particular area, something that you feel really passionate about and cannot get bored of. Now take that and look at how you can apply it towards a career.
Third step is to look at what you need to do to achieve it.. education, gathering capital to start if off. If it requires education then college is your best bet and stick with it til the end. The end rewards will help boost you onto your next set of goals. If its somethong you can do at home or start as a business then you have to go through the nitty gritty of working a simple job to acquire your capital, that will help fund your start.
As for being successful in other aspects of life youve already begun to eat healthier and take regular walks. So stick with it... build it up into a routine, workout more if you dont already do so.
The problem with society is success is mostly measured through your bank balance which is certainly not the case. Success can come from self improvement through your day to day life.. being a better person, learning to become more charismatic or knowledgeable of any or all subjects.
Take what ive done for example.. i used to be a total square who didnt know how to talk to women.. now i have more female friends than male.. i dropped out of 6th form and ended up unemployed for years then i worked at maccys.. after leaving maccys i ended up getting distinctions in engineering through college, even became a student rep and college ambassador. Im massive petrol head and im aiming to start a youtube channel to teach ppl to drive better and safer while still getting enjoyment from it. As for a career i aim to be a public figure as i have a natural talent to put myself out there and speak to a large audience, offering life advice and philosophies they can take on to improve their lives as a whole. Im also far more charismatic than i used to be and social interactions have become extremely easy for me.. i suggest watching 'charisma on command' on youtube.. they offer some extremely useful insights into becoming a better 'You'.. ive also started eating healthier.. exercising more and reading books which ive never done in my life outside of school
The point is.. if you do nothing with your life.. then youre a failure, regardless whos fault it may be to put you in the position you are in, if youre doing nothing about it and not making changes.. even slow and small ones step by step.. then youre not going anywhere.
Mental health issues can be difficult to deal with.. believe me i was on suicide watch a couples times myself.. its hard, but its not impossible to overcome, its how you use your perspective to view it and where your life is heading, in order to change your life for the better.
Just remember that it will be a long and difficult journey, no success is earned through minimal effort and procrastination. But the rewards and the progress speak for themselves, use them to keep topping up your fuel tank to keep driving you forward and youve already begun those first steps to making your life better.
I wish you all the best dude.. its a long ass journey but like a torn muscle.. the pain and suffering youve gone through will help to heal you and make you a better and stronger person than before |

No problem dude.. happy to help.. wouldnt make a very good public figure to help the masses if i couldnt take the opportunity to help someone out asking for advice lol
If you ever need more advice just let me know. And dont rely on pl like myself and 'life coaches' to help you out.. ultimately you must guide yourself into a better tomorrow.. we just tell you how you can achieve hahah
Best of luck to you |

Good advice so far OP!
I can only agree and say my advice is to find something you love doing, enjoy doing and work with that. Find out what skills/qualifications you need and take it from there.
Better to do a low paid job you love than to do a high paid job and be over worked, stressed out, and miserable. The only person who would benefit from that is the Bank.
Good luck x
