ODP Clearance on another site which I won’t name a girl wants to hook up, however she’s asking me to get a safety id it’s something to do with them meeting someone safely but I’m not sure if it’s a scam, so before I commit anyone else experienced this |

I think we should all be in the habit of questioning anything we're asked to do on the net or on the phone.
Why am I being asked to do this?
Is it reasonable be logical?
Will it achieve the purpose they're claiming it will?
Do I have doubts as to the validity of what they're asking me to do?
Does it sound too good to be true? |

All this is exactly right, there are so many scams now and for lonely gits like me when a woman pays the slightest bit of attention it becomes a temptation, but I went with my gut on this |

On another site, for short term dating, had a girl who wanted to video chat before meeting.
That's fine.
But WhatsApp, Skype etc wasn't good enough, it had to be some random site where you gave your card details.
I'm all for reasonable precautions but that screamed Scam. Googled the video site and it was. |
