Am I being dumb. I don’t understand this thread. What other people are they wanting you to meet?
I often get people pretending they have been to the same event as me asking me to verify them although they (if they were even actually there) never came to say hello on the day |

Quite a few people will only meet verified people / men. So that drives up the value of a verification to the point where people try to find an easier way to get one. It's a bit chicken-and-egg with verified meets, but CAM is easier to push for.
Of course anyone basing their shopping decisions on reviews isn't going to put much stock in a lackluster CAM verification.

I never see the point of cam verifications, as far as meeting goes, it proves nothing. As for giving a verification it would have to be by genuinely meeting someone. Certainly wouldn't want to give one to someone I hadn't met. |

I remember a few years ago on a different profile I had a guy ask to view his cam and then tell another lady he was the real deal and was bbc? My reply- no clue as I ain’t watching your cam and if the other lady was interested then she’d already be viewing your cam! The room was in fits of laughter to which he then left the room |

I hope not. I've only got a few veris after being here for a while now, but I actually have a connection with the people who have written about me.
What does a verification actually get you, anyway? It's not like anyone's meeting these days.. |

going for coffee fine if you agreed before hand, all you wanted was that. I'm all about transparency. It when they change the game mid way through, claiming they wanted something different at the start, then in reality after the physical side, they just wanted you to praise how good they were in bed so other women find them more appealing. Usually this is members with no verifications and been on fab for ages with no success

I’ve often had guys messaging whining that they just want help getting verified, is that the sort of thing you mean? I just delete them tbh.
The most annoying thing for me was a guy I met last year. He deleted his profile the next day and never spoke to me again, then earlier this year suddenly messaged out of the blue saying he’d rejoined and asking me to veri him. I did, he couldn’t be arsed to return it, and has hardly spoken to me since. So yeah I felt pretty used by that. |

Why let yourself be treated like this? They are nobody to you and you to them, they are clearly users and you are better off without them, block them, forget them and move on, stick with people who show you respect, you will be much happier. |

So maybe try them giving ‘you’ what you want first instead of you pleasing people you don’t know.
Don’t understand why people would give a verification to someone they haven’t met unless it’s a webcam veri of course.
Obviously if you have met them previously and they come back and ask for a veri fair enough but if they don’t return one there’s no point getting upset by it as I’m sure they won’t be by the sound of it. |

OP isn’t giving veris to people she hasn’t met, I think it’s stuff like guys messaging begging for “anything, even just a quick hello in a public place so you can verify me” (actual request I’ve received) - they’re obviously not interested in the person they’re asking, they just want a veri even if it’s a completely meaningless one. |
