Can anyone recommend anything to safely store toys away from prying eyes please?

We have recently stored them inside a metal lockable box but when we last went to use them 2 of them are damaged ??

It looks like the metal has reacted with the toys and they have have flat spots where they have touched the bottom or side of the box.

Possibly, we have thought of that but wanted something smaller than a case if possible that we could store in the bed drawers but be able to padlock x

Travel bags are good, as are make up cases.

You do need to be careful about what the toys touch. The metal lock box is fine, but it's worth putting them in individual cloth bags inside the box. Lovehoney sell a range of storage things from satin drawstring bags to lockable cases.

My most frequently used just sit on top of the toy box (perks of living alone!) but the ones I use less often are in their original boxes, pouches or bags inside the main box.

It also depends on what the toys are made of: glass and steel never have issues, my silicone ones melt into gloop if you look at them the wrong way.

Use long socks to protect your toys, a case of cocks in socks?

Little bags and antique type shops for a wooden lockable box.

I wrap individual toys in old (lint free) hand towels or tea towels (that won't be confused with ones I use in the kitchen) and keep extras on hand. Useful for covering up used toys if needed, and easily washed and replaced.

I keep most of my toys in a lockable tool box, some under the bed and the rest in the bedroom closet (or wardrobe).

Thanks I will have a look. Yes it is the silicone ones that I have ruined unfortunately. They have 2 or 3 flatspots from where they have come into contact with the metal sides.

Just spent £80 replacing the ruined ones

A box at end of your bed

If you don't have a cloth bag you could use a par of socks two storage bags for price of one. I use them on my toys never had a problem even with them laid on top of each other.

Bottom of the laundry basket? I used to keep all my precious documents there as I was the only person that ever went there

We use aluminum flight cases. They have padded insides and customisable compartments. Plus with a bit of ingenuity and high grade packing foam you can make custom shadow cut outs for key and/or delicate items. And of course they have locks which is useful if you have kids in the house.

I keep mine in a computer case ,it keeps them safe plus no danger of any reactions from metal

I brought one of the small clingfilm dispensers home that we use at work. It's perfect for wrapping toys up. Keeps the fluff and muck off and we can tell which toy is which easily.

Silicone toys shouldn’t mark or melt. Most plastic ones will though if they are stored together and are touching.

A good tip, when you’ve washed dildos and are ready to store them, dust them with cornflour. It protects and is easily rinsed off when you want to use them again. We bought a large catering tub online.

Buy a drum kit and tell the kids the dildos are drum sticks

We use a drawer under the bed. Wish I could have a wall display but that's a no go with kids

Thanks everyone x. I have ordered some toy storage bags from Lovehoney and also a small travel bag from amazon so hopefully everything will be free from damage and safely hidden away from prying eyes

Lots of good ideas here but for us the solution was simple, we bought an ottoman bed that lifts up. Huge storage underneath with no chance of the kids lifting it up to find our many items

Out of a king size bed space one half is filled with our toys and bondage equipment
