Hi,

I'm a curvy lady and I just can't find hold ups to suit me. What ever size I try they just keep rolling down!

Anyone else have the sand problem- any suggestions other than stockings and suspenders??

it is the most common problem with hold ups, I have heard that body glue works but haven't tried it myself yet, I think one of the leading brands is "staysput"???

good luck, xxx

I'm a size 20 and I use ones from Primark £2.00 although only 5'2" I use the long length as you get more play in them and they never roll down on me unless I have used body lotion on my legs

Another positive for M&S here too!!

I wear the xl hold ups, never had a problem with them. Wore them for a good 10 hours last weekend at a wedding and they didnt move once!

I never use anything to help either. Just put them on dry legs and away I go!!!

I'm with the M&S folks.. I wear them all the time, bare legs no lotions etc

just make sure you get right size for your clothes size AND height.. I wear XL cos they stay put, the L roll down a little

i think what makes marks hold ups better is the fact they just have one thick band of rubber to hold them up instead of 2 or 3 thin lines like a lot have, i find hold ups that have a couple of thin strips dont hold up as well and the rubber starts peeling off after a bit where as the single thick band that marks have hold the stocking top in place better and ive never had a pair that peels, plus the have a lot of give in them so arnt tight round the top which is when i find they start rolling

I find the deep lace ones from Debenhams work better for me. But a bit costly at just under £10

I am with you on this one as even us slim ladies struggle but M&S are really good and so is BHS, prices aren't much different either. Even Tesco's ones were okay too and got a lovely purple pair and on sale so bought 3 pairs shame most shops only do black, white and brown, would so love coloured and patterned ones

I have a problem with the ones from Tesco, obviously something in them that disagree with me and end up with really itchy legs and bright red too (not a good look!!!). Got some lovely hold-ups from Lidl of all places last year and they had red ones which get rave reviews and they are a great fit and stay put too

ooo red ones, didn't see them at Tescos, otherwise I would have got them too. Might pop into Lidl's and have a look tomorrow.

Staying put isn't necessarily the problem, its the rubbing on my skin and have ended up with blisters from some

Lidl don't do them all the time, maybe twice a year. Next time we see them advertised I will try and remember to send you a message as it was there I got the red ones, got black and white as well. Good quality and really nice as well

If I use body lotion on my legs it has the opposite effect.

I like M&S and Ann Summers hold ups, find they tend to stay in place the best.

I find Ann Summers ones work for me, I have tried M&S ones, only once tho, would love it if manufacturers would make patterned hold ups like they do all the fancy tights they make, cus I never wear tights, I don't like them, but I would love to wear patterned ones

All the hold ups that i have tried are good for staying up on the first time wear, after that they are rubbish and i have to get new ones. My partner and me walked the length and height of Lakeside to look for white hold up nothing to be seen any where. We were told that no one wears white any more it's all ivory... No good if you have got a sexy white corset or something similar. Now we have to go on to the internet to get them. I love idea of red ones though
