I know I might sound a bit dim for asking this, but are there ways of staying safe for girl on girl fun?
I just ask because in mff situations, I wear a condom with him, make sure he changes it when he swaps, but I'm still licking her bare, and vice versa. Is it dental dams or nothing?
I think I'd rather give up than use dams.
Any advice/experience?

as long as you dont have an open sores/ulcers/bleeding gums, then the risk of an std is relatively low when performing oral on a woman, unless of course she is oozing green toxic smelling stuff, then i'd deffo steer clear!!  |

Dental dams are awful. I was given a chocolate flavoured one when I went for a check-up - sorry, I want to taste woman, not some artificial flavour!
What works for me is - If you both use the same strap-on, use a condom. Don't swap toys. If you use a double-ender, don't change ends.
