I have a workmate who i get on really well with and we have a laugh together. I fancy her but don't seem to be able to bring the conversation round to see if she would fancy have a fling with me. Any advice how to do this ?

If she fancied, you'd know by now. Leave it be before it turns awkward. Who knows how long you'll have to work together.

Thanks, i think that is why i have never brought it up because i know how awkward it would be afterwards if she didn't fancy me

Difficult isn't it. So awkward if she doesn't feel the same way, very awkward if you're thinking "fling" and she's thinking "relationship", possibly extremely awkward if you go ahead and it all ends badly. But, it could be the best thing to happen to both of you.

Without being rude are you both free to pursue a relationship?

I'm in an open relationship and she lives with someone but they seem to live separate lives going by what she has said to me, so not sure what is going on and maybe we are best just staying great mates

If only we had a crystal ball .

We had a fling at work, so far it's lasted 40 years.

yeah some people just flirt for the sake of flirting but actually would never have anything romantic or physical with you. You know if she really wanted you

I wouldn't play with anyone at work or in my normal network of friends. Just makes it so awkward.
