I got my enema kit from love honey, it is the bulb type, sucking in warm soapy water from the handbags and delivering along a tube with an appropriate shaped nozzle at the end. Before anal sex I usually give myself an enema to remove the solids, then another douche to rinse out. making me wish I was meeting someone |

"So im really wanting to try new things but obviously need to douche!
Whats a good homeade one and any tips?"
Why home make one when you can buy them for about £10?
Still, off you're more the 'Blue Peter' type and really want to make one here's how...
All you'll need is:
A disposable plastic bottle that's previously held water or a sports lucazade type drink that had the flip up style lid and mouthpiece
A plastic drinks straw
A ton of lube
Sharp scissors or knife
Fill the bottle with clean water... This can be cold or tepid but NEVER hot. Insert the plastic drinks straw into the mouthpiece of the lid. Typically you'll find that the diameter of just about a perfect fit into the lid mouthpiece.
Then you need to pierce the bottle on its base with a small hole. This will allow the water to flow.
Lube the opposite end of the straw up and also your intimate part.
Lie on your back and insert into your...
(Because you've pierced the bottle the water will want to run out of the straw so you'll have to pinch the straw whilst inverting the bottle and inserting)
Once in release the pinch and allow the water to flow naturally.
Hold on for as long as you can then evacuate.
Repeat as required.
It's a bit fiddly but it does work. |

Lots of advice above..
Just one thing..
please don’t take the head off the shower and use the hose if you have a power shower...
No pressure should be applied rectally. It can be quite dangerous..
the simple bulb type is very effective. |

"Im looking into this too. I've got the "device" but not sure about the solution to use. Want to be safe!
Just warm water will do"
I've read that you shouldn't use plain water. Its so confusing! I don't want to cause any internal damage |

Be careful. I’ve done it once and it made me ill. |

Why??
OP the safest option is the traditional enema bag, a complete silicon bag kit costs around £14 on Amazon and will last year's.
The shower attachments work too as these control the pressure entering your bum, but I'd avoid personally if you're in a house with anything other than high water pressure.
Have you ever been in the shower and someone flushes a loo or runs a tap, and suddenly the shower pressure drops and the temperature shoots up? You do NOT want that happening with water entering your ass, a burn there could put you in A&E |

I've been taking enemas since my teenage years.
Warm, cold or even hot(ish) water is fine. If you can put your hand in it without it feeling to hot it's ok for your bum.
What you are probably thinking of is the effect plain water has on your body. Plain water of any temperature has negligible salt content so your body starts to absorb it through the colon wall into your bloodstream. Now for regular enemas lasting 10-20 minutes this is no problem, it actually rehydrates your body nicely.
The problem comes from repeated enemas or long term retention enemas. If you absorb too much plain water it starts to imbalance the electrolytes in your body and it can make you ill.
To fix this, for every 1 quart of water you are going to take, mix in around 1 full teaspoon of regular salt. This will create a mix that will more naturally match the bodies chemistry, and will not be absorbed thus avoiding the imbalance.
Now the bad side of that make sure all the enema is out before leaving the house or playing as it will not absorb into the body at at all, and you don't want any coming back to haunt you later
Personally I never bother with salt unless I'm taking more than two enemas or planning to hold it for any length of time. |

Just get yourself a Anne summers or love honey bubble douche, use like warm sea salted water and lube, make sure you do it after u been bathroom, and a good few hours before play, as your ass walls hold water. Also very diet dependant and what your regular habits are it's well worth meal planning if you planning a session.
Note this for basic fun play in that department. If as some males do, want to boldly go where noone has gone before, not my cuppa tea, ie past what regular anal would be, then firstly lots of training and secondly you would need to consider a colonic rather than a douche, I only know this after speaking to a trans freind who goes elbow deep ekkkkkkkk 6 inch enough for me.... |

I've tried the shower method a couple of times and didn't expect so much water to come back out. So deffo make sure you do it a couple of hours before play! |

To aviod this difficulty make sure your shower is pressure balanced and avoid 'gravity fed systems'.. |

Man up, stretch with toys and lube is that how you started small toys and plenty of lube "
I'm not sure I can remember that far back!
No I started with 3 butt plugs, a small that was too small, a medium which was a stretch, and a large that was impossible.
It didn't take much practicing before that large popped right in. Little and often is the key, you have to learn to relax, and give your body time to adjust |
