Good evening peeps, Wondering how everyone gets over the nervousness and that awkward first moment of meeting someone new?

I'm not sure what you mean then. What's the context of the meeting?

If you mean meeting someone in a club, I'm not going to lie I get nervous but I usually ask them how their night is going, if they have been to the club before wrc.

Whooooops, Maybe I didn't explain myself properly

The first time you meet someone in person after arranging it? Think its time for bed

Genuinely, I smile, say hello, kiss them on the cheek and introduce myself telling them I'm pleased to meet them. I know the person already knows my name but you have to start somewhere.

We only ever meet socially first so we get a drink and chat.

If we all agree to meet again we break the ice in various ways but our most enjoyable meets have been where we play strip poker, forfeits or one of the adult board games we have. That might not work quite so well one to one

I would think it would depend on the chemistry, location and signals from the other person.

Ice breakers such as a drink (doesn't have to be alcoholic; could be tea/ soft drink), a hug hello or a compliment could help.

Treat them like you’re old friends, be warm and have a giggle. If you don’t click socially you’re not going to click in bed

We like meeting people who have a hot tub

After a few drinks and a chat retreat to the tub good ice breaker
