Hope you don't mind me adding to this. I do understand totally and I respect that. But for us genuine guys that are serious and want to start a long journey of excitement on here, it can be so hard when people say I won't meet guys without verifications, how are we suppose to get verifications if no one is willing to give us a chance.
I hate the fact that these guys ruin it for us serious ones. I would try a club but lockdown put a stop to that lol.

I look at the length of time on the site if just joined you can understand no veris but if they have been on the site 12 months or more and no veris then yep i avoid .... |

Cams - no one wants to cam with me as I'm not verified
Clubs - I joined just as the lockdown started
Socials - again no one wants socials with me as I'm not verified.

if a guy hasn't been on the site for that long, had a good profile, i probably would cam with him if i liked him enough then verify him |

OP just think of it as a learning curve. Try other ways of making sure they are who they say they are before meeting. Xx |

I agree with you, but for one genuine person that are 10's of opportunistic people. I rarely reply to someone unverified nowadays because 99 times of a 100 its someone talking sexually and then disappearing.
Not for me.
Bide your time, wait for a club to open or meet socially if can find someone willing to meet you.

Obviously lockdown has hindered things at the moment, but in general (before/after lockdown) there’s still no excuse.
I’m sure if you joined one of the cam rooms someone would happily verify you too  |

It's a bout the person, not the verifications or lack thereof. I've been here ten years and met many men (always a social only first for me) who are not verified but they all had good pictures, could hold a conversation away from sex and remained respectful.
On the day of any social or meet, if they don't reply to a message I send in the morning, I cancel the meet but they all know that in advance.

What annoys me more than anything, not just on swingers,but on most sites I've been on is the amount of liers there are when it commes to verifying people. Loads promise to verify at the time of meeting but then once yo leave and askthem they flatey refuse to.
Obvious from my profile name that I get more meets with men than women, and usualy the ladies keep their woord and do veriy me, but the young men ???? Forget it.

I feel your pain. To be honest I met someone last year with verifications but his pics were still that old I could not recognise him. It was awkward and embarrassing and a waste of time |

It has nothing to do with men, women do it too so I guess the moral of the story is...be sure who you are talking to is who they say they are. |

I don't like doing video ones really. I hate the way I look on camera. But it might be a good idea. It's not only single men I've had lots of fake women too.

Veris from meets are closer to impossible, due to the virus just permitting limited social meets, or cam meets online.
Once the lockdown restrictions ease even more, it's likely that more people will have socials and veris will get easier.
Until then, cams to get a cam veri is possibly better than nothing |

I've given the unverified a chance in the past. But never again. I've been followed after a social. Had guys turn up that don't match their pics. I always socialed first because of this behaviour from some men. Now I only meet in clubs, on member only nights |

Interesting topic. I appreciate everyone has to start somehwere but I tend to have a fairly good eye for the fakes.
It may not be everyone's cup of tea but a completely non verified and green ticked profile can still fairly quickly/easily verify.
Sometimes I request a very stupid random pic, like a pic of a tooth brush next to your nipple. Or 3 fingers over your nose, that kinda thing. It doesn't have to be sexual at all and not a face pic either. It's amazing how quickly genuine people can do that and don't have a problem with it, and how much resistance the fakes put up...

Socials can be two things.
A social no pressure meeting with individuals, which is what you are describing here. This is the more intimate version.
The other version being an organised social. A gathering of many people. Often new starters etc. These happen every so often and are an amazing way to meet and chat with others. |

Yea very true, of course. But if they're not verified in any way and are basically trying to show they are genuine, I feel like the ball is in their court to do something that suggests they're genuine. A phone call, funny pic, etc. Otherwise perhaps they're just waiting for someone to take a complete chance on them and get that veri once they've met up. |

50:1? Women can afford to be picky and often miss genuine messages.
If someone is green tick verified that should be enough. If you want to know them better then video call and make your own judgement |

I've met many unverified men over the years for socials, it's easy to see who wont turn up, no phone call or daft picture needed. |

I just don't see how the numbers are imbalance though? The same number of men and women join, online, chat on forums. Personally I think it is how men create their profile, converse in messages that may make men feel like it is 50:1. There's plenty of profile and conversation advice on forums but you still see same mistakes made time and time again. swingers aren't free sex workers!  |

How do you know how many join tho? The true figures are masked. I've just looked how many women joined -200 v how many men - 300+. Now the + bit could mean 301 or 300,000, we don't know. But fab do. So why not publish the real figures? I've never understood that one. |

I've always said to anyone but I am going to meet on any website it doesn't matter if it's a dating website it doesn't matter if it's a sex site I've always asked for a face picture and if they don't want to give a face picture then a video call that way I know who I am speaking to sometimes if they don't want to do it a lot of the time you know that they are fake you just got to be careful and ask |
