Social meets only I'm guessing for this year. They'll need to satisfy local authorities that they won't increase infection levels. Some clubs are unable to open as bars only, so will be later.
None of us know how numbers are going to pan out in the months ahead and it would be silly to risk mass gatherings that are very intimate, to the potential of mass infection transfer.
Imagine the negative impact if a major problem was traced to a club. Nobody wants this, including the clubs. Their staff also deserve to be kept safe, so that other vulnerable people don't get infected indirectly. |
