I’m really struggling with my self image at the moment and the pictures I have of myself aren’t flattering at all, I’m really struggling to find a angle that looks good. Any ideas for a curvier bloke to look good in? |

as a BHM, I know your pain. A couple of things that may help - wearing flattering clothes. A well fitting suit really makes you look great and there are some on fab who really dig it.
Get your lighting right - a ring light costs very little or use a lamp. Natural light is best though and better from behind.
Maybe invest in a selfie stick. You’re doing the right thing doing overhead photos but a stick can stabilise. Or get someone to take some for you.
Cropping can make some real magic happen!
Even pros can take dozens of photos to get the right one.

Thanks. I will try some of those things. I do have a suit so may try that. Lol don’t have anyone to take the pics for me, if I eventually get a meet may ask that person to take some for me haha. Xx |

Take photos that show either your personality, sense of humour, adventurous side, playfulness or mysterious.
Sure you're a big guy. Myself as well. So you have to show yourself more than just a piece of meat for these women to appreciate you.
The shallow ones won't want you regardless and honestly you are better off without them.
Present yourself as a guy who would make an amazing evening.
Having said that I should really pay attention to my own photos  |

Yeh I have a timer so that probably be a good start. Not to sure for the face pic just yet, one of my private ones is part face lol. But it’s still about finding a angle that flatters me. And with my own view of myself that’s tough lolz  but thank you. X |

Yeh again my confidence a bit on the floor at the moment, and being a little bit socially awkward I’m not good at bugging myself up. Think I may just need to experiment with camera and see what happens. Thank you. X |

We think a good clear face pic is much more important than a body pic.
We are not massively body confident and are more attracted to the curvy/fuller bodies anyway. It’s also about having fun, showing respect and been relaxed so someone who give that impression from the off gets our attention.
If we receive a message without a face pic or none on there profile we just delete the message.
Try not to be so serious OP, females and couples get lots of message so you need to stand out.
Also your comments about a simple no thanks message on your profile. We have on ours that if we delete a message without replying to take it as a polite No Thank you this is because to reply to every message we receive would take far to much time, we also have a life out side of fab so when we are on here enjoy chatting to friends, reading the forums and chatting to new people who make the effort and we are attracted to.

I take all my own photos. Timer is my best friend lol.
What do you consider your best features are?
I personally love sexy eyes and a smile.
Suit and shirt pictures in black and white do it for me if done right.
I love a nice sexy rounded butt too.
I have bits of my body I don't feel so confident about, so I focus purely on those I do.
Angles and lighting can be very flattering too.
Take your pics when you feel horny and your confidence will be higher then too.

Oh OP. The fact that you feel quite down on yourself makes me feel quite sad. I think sometimes people forget that men can be as insecure about their appearance as women can, especially on sites like fab.
The two men further up have given you very good recommendations and they both have good photos. Definitely concentrate on what you like the most about you. For instance I like my bum so there's lots of photos of that hidden away on my profile. Don't be afraid of getting extra photography equipment too like what's already been suggested, play around with smart clothes and play with photos, angles and filters. Also, if you feel comfortable and you have a close female friend, maybe send potential photos to her and she what she thinks. |

Thank you all so much. This means a great deal and over the next few days I will try and get a few more photos. I may post back in here and see if there’s a improvement if asked lol.
And yes, your completely right. I am only here because of a change in circumstances, that change in circumstances killed what confidence I did have and now I’m just looking to enjoy life a little but it is difficult getting knocked back especially when you don’t see yourself in a good light. As much as a lack of confidence is un sexy, it still takes time to build.
But again thank you for all your advice.
I like my bum, and me legs but not many women seem to like hair but I don’t think I could go smooth lol. But I’ll see what I can manage.

Oh, another point as I just read your profile OP - maybe show off your tattoos if you feel comfortable with it? Personally I find tattoos make a good talking point. |

I think I understand where your coming from at the moment. I have put on some weight over the last 6/8 months, taking photos of myself looking at them I just think you fat fuck, it has knocked my confidence no end and I myself don't feel as happy with the way my body looks any more. I do need to work on that now the world is slowly return to normality.
Finding angles that make you look good or where you look and think yes you sex beast (not that I think I ever did) is becoming very difficult but looks are only skin deep and I have many other great things going for me, so as already said put forward your sense of humor and personally if the woman is only after you for you looks then your probably better off without her. |

Invest in a small tripod, they cost very little on Amazon, wear a suit and smile.
Fabs is awash with single men’s profiles, splattered with badly taken cock pics and men who seem to think their only asset is their cock.
It’s easier to stand out from the crowd than most men seem to realise. |
