In terms of turning gay, people are, imo, born bisexual or gay or straight. It isn't something they turn into.
Fab and swinging can be veryiberating and empowering it's likely you've just allowed any suppressed feelings to surface.

To be honest I don't see it that way. Society is more liberal and accepting than at any other point in history in the UK, and it's being actively taught to kids that it's okay to swing whatever way they choose. Prior to that I think we were all raised straight, but life happens. Sexual urges, experiences, porn, shared stories etc. give us all the information about the various ways to express sexuality, and I truly believe said sexuality is expressly fluid throughout our lives. For some people that may mean exploring bisexuality as they grow older, which may be due to a basal desire to explore things previously unexplored, and for others it may be situational or even mood based.
To me sexuality mirrors life itself. It's an inherently personal journey which takes a different path for every individual. We just try to encapsulate the infinality of human experience with broad brush strokes in order to convey underlying (and indeed intricate) concepts to those around us. |
