Message filters not working

I have my messages set to block those outside my age range, yet they are still managing to message & so are newbies that are also blocked.

Any one else having issues with filters?

We find that although we have the filter set to not allow messages from anyone without public pics, they still come through. Think they're a bit hit'n'miss.

Yep a guy was able to message today, even though I stopped everyone new contacting me!

They usually work pretty well but sometimes one outside the age range does slip through for some reason.

We’ve noticed that a lot recently too

They seem to be only out by a year or two so I wondered if it had something to do with the filters may have been ok when set but fab might not take into account birthdays etc

It only seems to have been happening over the last few weeks

Thankfully I've not had issues with my filters for the most part; however I do see some contradictions at times. Fab admits that too.

Someone could message even tho they dont have meet certifications but they are photo verified.

Obviously with couples, one might be outside the age limit but because the other isnt, i get their mail.

I think newbie profiles are classed so, if they on the site less than 7 days?

Thanks for checking, they definitely weren't the past couple of weeks, was getting messages from guys older & lower than the age I set.

Like a 23 ur old....'boy, my son is closer to your age, than you are to me!'

occasional escapees are pretty normal, the filters must work most of the time for most of the messages.

i'm sure that over the day they must have quite a few messages across the site.

Just had another one message me. All my filters have been active for two weeks now.

I've decided to hide my profile instead.

Clearly there's something wrong with the system...

Don't forget some members on here, for their own reasons

will make a picture public, message you, them set said picture to private again.. Personally though I've never really had a problem with filters I'm pleased to say

will make a picture public, message you, them set said picture to private again.. Personally though I've never really had a problem with filters I'm pleased to say

I get this a lot. I ignore those messages and delete them as I didn't want them in the first place.
