Have just been messaged by someone who's profile says won't smokers when we replied with a thanks but no thanks as we are both smokers as our profile states they replied that it was a mistake that they actually are a smoker checked their profile again says they are a non smoker pointed this out again to be told what's the big deal well the deal is what else they not being upfront about |

We get it often. We reply with no thanks you don't meet smokers, half the time they go oh its a mistake... rest of time we get oh we didn't see you were smokers  . |

For us it is something similar, K hates anything to do with cigarettes and wouldn't want to play with a guy who smoked. A is far more relaxed about smoking (and is an ex-smoker) so doesn't mind playing with a female smoker as long as they aren't actually smoking on a meet but explaining that is a bit much so it's easier for us to just say we don't meet smokers when in reality it's a bit more nuanced than that. |

I always find this one a difficult one..
I smoke during the week day only and 2 for the day.
I dont need it during socials/meets.
I dont count myself as a smoker as I go months without and then I dabble again.

We both smoke and have also had messages from people who say wont meet smokers wanting to meet (pre.lockdown or after lockdown) think some people see someones photos and think they can accept the smoke smell..for that person..we politely remind them.we do smoke....then its their choice.. |

Not to do with smoking specifically, but I get this a lot with my public hair. I clearly state in my profile that I have it, only to be messaged by people who specify they will only meet people who don't have hair there.
So I reply to say that we'd be incompatible for that reason and I'm often told "I/we would make an exception for you" or "oh don't worry about that"
I wish people would just say what they mean and mean what they say. |

Um not a smoker, but have no issues with smokers, most either have a cigarette in my kitchen or outside, not sure how it's a mistake and if so why don't they just change the setting! |

Some people will configure their profile to remove barriers, people won't refuse to meet a non-smoker but some will refuse to meet smokers. I've seen people who claim to be non-smokers but have photos that show them with a cigarette... or they mention they're 420 friendly.
Generally though a non-smoker will smell that somebody is a smoker straight away... it would be end of meet for us.

Oh, we've had that several times with both men and couples, we've had messages saying they like the look of us and they would love to meet us. Then we message back and then get a reply saying that they actually don't want to meet us as they don't like hairy women.
This wouldn't be a problem but given that K is all natural and it is clearly shown in so many of our public pictures and it's written in our profile description we have no idea what they were thinking of when they first messaged us. |
