Have done this in the past as part of a D/s scene You make sure everything is discussed way beforehand, boundaries and stuff ( whilst not horny  ) contracts can be useful as well to show what you are entering in to.
Also had a 3 stage safeword.
Used once everything stops immediately, speak to the person next day,if safe word is used again all play still is off the cards, then 7 days afterwards a check in again, if safe word is used for the last time, scene comes to an end permanently, everything is returned, pictures videos passwords ect.
Of course you need to make sure that both parties trust each other implicitly.
