Has anyone had any fun on a long distance train?

I’m on the train regularly from England to Scotland and would love to have fun.

The Canadian VIA sleeper from Vancouver to Toronto and the 'Ghan from Adelaide to Darwin.

The rhythmic movement of the train and people going past in the corridor definitely adds to the excitement and experience!
