Morning all, thought you’d like to hear about my recent work conference...
Accounting conferences are usually dull as dishwater but this one was taking place in a 5* hotel in the countryside so I thought I’d go to just enjoy the hotel for free.
Rocking up it looked amazing, the rooms were huge -4 poster bed , walk in shower etc. I quickly dumped my bags and headed down to the drinks reception hoping it and dinner would be over quickly so I could enjoy the facilities and catch up on sleep.
In the bar I didn’t really know anyone so I milled around waiting for dinner. As I checked the seating plan I was sat between 2 guys I didn’t know... |

I went through into dinner hoping it would be over quickly. Arriving last at my table I greeted everyone around it, the guy I was sat next to turned around and I was immediately taken aback. He was so cute, in shape, well groomed and silver flecks on his hair. I babbled a bit as we introduced ourselves and sat down.
The wine started to flow as did the annoying small talk. After a while chatting to my other neighbour I noticed the silver fox wasn’t chatting to anyone and I plucked up the courage to start talking.
I asked about him-telling me he was happily married and told him I was 2 months away from getting married. He was so easy to chat to, so cute and safe,... |
