This happened in the days before internet.
I was travelling back from Manchester when i called in at a newsagents & noticed on the top shelf that there was a contact mag, It was smaller than the other magazines. I bought it & when i got home I looked through the adds & proceeded to write letters to some of the people that interested me. I enclosed a naked pic of myself in each one, Which I took on a Polaroid instamatic camera, Recently purchased at a local car boot & actually worked. Worried that my identity would be discovered, I decided to use the name of the previous occupier of my house which I had recently moved in to. I posted them & waited for any replies.
Weeks went by & no replies, Then one day a work colleague, Who also lived in the same village as me mentioned that he`d heard I was in to swinging. I was horrified & asked him how he knew.... Little did I know that the previous tenant of my house, Who`s name i`d used for return mail from the contacts was the bloody Postman. He had then gone down the local pub with my replies & the returned naked pics of me & whoever had contacted me & shown them to everyone. I didn`t frequent the pub & decided that there was only one thing for it. I went down there on Saturday night, faced them & blamed it on my lodger. (True story) |
