Yesterday I had the day to myself so I set out for the day with nothing really planned, the weather was nice and I thought why not, my hubby was at work all day and I have nothing to do. I got in the car and headed off in a direction that I knew would take me out into the countryside. After about an hours drive and several country roads I notice a small road leading off to the left so I turn down and followed it.
I came across a small area I could park the car and there was a small footpath sign next to a stile so I thought I would talk a walk. I grabbed my small rucksack which had a couple of bottles of water in that I had fetch and off I went. I had been walking for about half an hour, I had not seen a sole, I hadn’t even seen any cars on the roads I had been down, I felt completely alone, it was so peaceful and quiet apart from the birds twittering this was bliss.
