I’ve had this little fantasy story in my head for years, if enough people like it I’ll continue with it.

I’ve had this long term fantasy about being invited to an old friends house, for perfectly ordinary reasons, you know the thing. “Yeah, pop round on Tuesday afternoon we’ll both be in.”
So the invitation is accepted and, of course, I head to their place.
They’re old friends and I’ve been a regular visitor to their house in the past so it’s a very ordinary thing to happen.
Tuesday arrives and I jump in the car at around 1pm.
It’s warm, sunny and they’re only ten minutes drive away, I haven’t seen them for a while so I’m looking forward to a bit of a catch up.
I park outside their house and walk around to the back door.
We’ve been long time friends and I know their back door will be open on a day like this.
They’ve always been happy for me to just go in, and besides, they’re expecting me!
