She rang me in the morning to say that she was running behind schedule and was taking her dog out for a walk first as it was a long drive to Edinburgh from Bristol. I had never met Heather before but she was coming to stay with me for a week while she did some work in Edinburgh. She is the friend of a friend of mine and while she was going to stay with my friend, she had got the original dates wrong and now my friend had an Air B’B guest booked in.
Heather sounded jolly on the phone, well spoken and we seemed to hit it off quite well. I wondered what she looked like. What colour her hair was, I like brunettes. Was she slim or cuddly? |

It is now nearly 18:00 and she said that sh would give me a call when she got to Carlisle and as this is a "Real Time Story" we are now all waiting....
I have booked a table for five of us to go out to supper at 20:30. |
