Just wanted to share with Fab a recent experience of mine.
I was in Israel and went into a shop to buy a tshirt I had seen. It was a decent size shop, the kind if shop you see close to beaches, which sell chocolate, drinks, sunglasses, tacky souvineers and also beachwear.
I went in and found the tshirt I wanted, and I noticed they sold shorts too. I thought I could do with an extra pair of shorts to sleep in, rather than use the ones I use for the beach. The shop was empty of customers and the lady that worked there was helping me look through the shorts. It was all stocked randomly so their was no order to the stock, just look through the like and hope you find one you like and in your size. They didn't have any small, so she picked out a few mediums and said why don't you try it on? I thought it would be best to try it on before I bought any so I said OK. But the shop didn't have any fitting rooms and she suggested in the corner of the shop there was a little alcove where there was a sink so she said try it on round there. And she came with me!
I had a tshirt and shorts on already, so I removed my shorts whilst she watched and tried the new ones on. I didn't like the style and the size didn't fit, so I knew that the other sizes wouldn't fit either but I thought I could draw out the situation for a bit longer. I removed my tshirt and checked in the mirror. I told her I didn't like the style. She suggested trying another set, so I removed the shorts and was stood there completely naked in front of her whilst she had the other pair waiting to hand to me.
