Ralph turn around and saw trucks pulling up to the gates of the camp all of the people thought that it was the end for them all, "one of the prisoners shouted at the top of his voice "they are going to kill us all every one of us " panic started to set in, the children were sobbing the women trying to keep them calm, out of the corner of his eye he saw soldiers with guns climbing out of the back of the trucks , but you see these soldiers had different uniforms on and spoke in a different language from the german soldiers . The allied forces saw corpses of bodies all over the camp site, some of the soldiers began to sob their heads bowed, because of the horrific appalling sights in front of their eyes, everywhere they stepped corpses were scattered piles of the innocence on pyres and in the sheds, the people who barely survived just sat in silence but were still overjoyed seeing these different uniforms on soldiers, all they could say was "thank you ,you have saved us." A young American solder walked over to Ralph and placed a hand on his shoulder, and said in a soft husky voice" its ok you are safe now, no one will be able to hurt you any more" Ralph did not feel the hand on his shoulder, why he did not feel that caring hand was because he was looking at two photographs of his parents, he turned to the young soldier "where are my mama and papa are they in the gloomy grey smoke thats in the sky from that chimney over there".
The young soldier did not know what to say to him , how could you tell a five year old that his parents had been killed and burnt and turned into ashes, but he told this little boy he was going to have some new clothes with no stripes on and toys to play with, lots of nice food to eat,so the gentle caring soldier placed his big strong hand in Ralph,s small hand and led him over to the red cross nurses where the other american and english soldiers were standing, who were taking care of the jewish people who were still huddled together.

THE KINDNESS IN THEIR HEARTS
The rest of the american and english soldiers were carrying spades their rifles , pointing at the german prisoners who were walking in front with their hands in handcuffs. the germans officers were grinning like the cheshire cat from the story alice in wonderland ,until they saw the corpses of the innocent that told a story of sadness through out the camp the sight was beyond believe the stench of rotting decaying flesh made the allied soldiers feel sick and sadness through out their bodies, one young soldier about twenty years old could not stomach anymore and broke down in tears, the innocent people got up from where they sat and with all of their strength hobbled over to the young lad and hugged him and kissed him on both of his cheeks and spoke in a whisper " its ok thank you " you are blessed, please remember what you have see here, and tell the world that this should never happen again " he wiped his eyes and got up and said " i will remember in fact we will never forget", the soldiers on either sides did not know what to expect when they got to the top of the camp, some of the jewish people managed to find their inner strength and walking and holding each other up quietly moved towards them they spat at the german soldiers and called them scum , as they reached the american and english men they reached out their hands to greet them tears of joy and sadness and embraced them as much as their strength could handle, they looked like skeletons. The soldiers big and strong broke down in tears and could not understand why one person could do those horrible and unthinkable things to another person, it was a miracle that any of the jewish people were still alive, the soldiers called them the walking dead, then the soldiers handed the spades to the german officers and soldiers and told them to dig up the mounds of mud that had been the trenches of the victims, ,as the earth was removed there was a horrible stench of rotting flesh,these poor innocent people had no way of defending theirselves and were told to stand in a line naked, then they were shot and fell into the trenches and soil was scattered over them. The allied forces called for the trucks to come and collect the people who were still alive and take them to the hospital which were run by the medics and the nuns and nurses. Soon the war end and germany surrendered and hitler commited suicide in his bunker in his hideaway, what a coward who could not face his capturers his victims, it did not comprehend what that man had done who tried to conquer the world and in the end failed. The concentration camps were liberated by the russian soldiers and the allied forces a combind force, at the time the survivors did not know what to do or where to go at first, but in the end they would move to many parts of the world some did not ever want to see poland again too many memories to remind them of what they went through leaving families and friends but they would alway be in their hearts and would never be forgotten, the young soldier who placed his hand on Ralph,s shoulder that innocent frightened scared little boy adopted him as his own son, he fell in love with one of the jewish woman he rescued from the camp she could not have any children of her own the german soldiers did that damage by raping her so many times she forgot, so ralph was welcomed into his family back in the united states and started a new life. As Ralph was maturing into a young man, he would not forget his parents or his religon or his past and the many friends he lost, and maybe one day he would sit Elisa down and tell her his life,s journey ,about her grandparents. Every time Ralph looked at his tattoo the memories came flooding back into his mind, and his beloved daughter Elisa would often hear him sobbing in his study as she walked towards her bedroom, she did not ask questions and she did not get any answers but she knew one day her father would tell her about his own horrors. Elisa wanted to know where she came from about her history in life about her grandparents and great grandparents really how far could she go to find out about her ancestors,only at high school did she learn about the second world war and the horrors that took place in the concentration camps but not for one moment did she ever think that her father was one of the surviors from the camp.
