No not at all strange, your husband is a very lucky man, and I wish I was in his situation.
There are (so it seems) plenty of couples with a bi females so maybe that is going to be the way to achieve your fantasy and then bring in second guy. But needs planning however might be a much quicker way than waiting for single bi female to appear.

we may have a female to join us but if not then a club it will be, couples are fantastic for couple play but I would hate to invite a couple for this particular fantasy as I just want the female and that would be totally unfair to the females partner/hubby xx |
