After a long week I booked a last minute Friday off work. Sat chilling around 12.00pm I decided to take a look at what was open on just eat, I had a craving for some fish and chips and didn’t fancy leaving my house. As luck would have it there were 2 places open. Order placed - food in 35 minutes! … what seemed like a hour and my phone rang - it was the driver and they couldn’t find my house. Quick instruction and they were at my door food in hand and to my shock - looking fit. There stood a blonde girl, early thirties, tattoos on arms and with a European accent. Suddenly I didn’t have a craving for fish and chips - I had a craving for her! … anyway I just took the fish and chips, tipped her and said thank you and closed the door (I know I know - but it’s what we do) … then I realised she rang me - so I rang it back aiming on saying I was missing something from the order … stupid just eat automated thing! … then I opened the bag to see I was actually missing my drink and sauces … bingo!! Rang the shop and a full fresh order would be sent out and is coming in around 30 minutes …. TBC …. |

So what do I do? How do I let this girl know I’m interested? … a lot can go through your head in 30 minutes - and you can be very brave up until the point haha … anyway - 30 minutes passed and sure enough here she was … at my door with fish and chips. Made a joke about finding me this time and that’s when I made my first little move … I told her I used to do abit of delivering myself around here and there’s a lot of places that even a sat nav can’t direct you to - so I passed her a piece of paper and told her if she’s ever struggling to give me a call and I’ll try and direct her - I tipped her again (these fish and chips better be worth it!) and away she went … now it was the waiting game …. Phone on full volume hoping for a message …. |
