An affair that won't happen - the fantasy version

I think the title says it all, but I'll try and give a little more detail. It's going to be subtly vague in place and names aren't the actual names, but the rest of it is based on fantasy...based on what has been shared.

A number of years ago, I met someone via work. Initially, I always thought she was cute. Curvy, blonde, a little younger than me....

Over time, the relationship developed. It wasn't just a 3PL/Customer relationship....we spoke every day, became friends on social media, and things took off from there.

I soon learned that Sophie had a pretty saucy side to her. She shared that with me and some of the conversations got fairly steamy...but there was something else about her for me. She was articulate, intelligent, driven, intellectual..she got inside my head and I fell for her, big time. She was everything I wanted in a partner.

To cut a long story short....we aren't together, we won't be, despite it being what we both want (I think), we've had several fall outs...but I know her every fantasy and the story I'm about to share, i wrote for her, based on the fantasies we had shared and I knew she had...if we were ever to have a night together...this is how it would pan out.

The sunlight flickered through the leaves on the trees as the car they were travelling in swept along the country roads towards their destination. In the car, the conversation flowed freely and excitedly between the two occupants, although occasional eye contact, knowing smiles, a hand on her thigh with a squeeze betrayed the sexual tension that existed between the two of them. Whilst neither would admit it, both Sophie and Jack were incredibly nervous. What started out as a working relationship gradually became a friendship, and a very close one at that. It was also something more than just friends. Both knew it, both felt it, both wanted it, but it was something rarely spoken about it, until recently. Now they were in the car, heading towards the hotel for the night away and time together they had both longed for. Whilst there had been many racy conversations between the two of them, and each knew the others every fantasy, fetish and sexual desire, it had been only words. This was going to be real. A completely different world. For Jack, Sophie was like a drug, and he was completely and hopelessly addicted. Stunning in so many aspects, as well as being incredibly pretty with flowing curves, she was intelligent, intellectual, interesting and he regarded her as a mental equal. Jack had been quite open with her about how he felt. Whilst Sophie was much more guarded about her feelings, there had been times she had admitted to how she felt about Jack.

The car swung off the road, the gravel crunching under the tyres as they drove up the drive to the front of the hotel. Both of them felt the hot rush of anticipation, the butterfies of nervousness. The car rounded the corner to the front of the country house, where they got out of the car to be met by the hotel’s concierge.

"Good afternoon sir, a pleasure to meet you both. If you would like to give me the keys to the car, I will park it and ensure your luggage is taken to your room. Please check in at reception at your leisure”

“Thank you very much” replied Jack, the keys tinkling slightly as he handed them over. The concierge smiled as he noticed the little blonde Lego keyring figure hanging from them, glancing at Sophie and looking back at the figure. Sophie was impressed. Jack had clearly made a good choice in their place for the evening. A well proportioned country house in an unfamiliar area, not too big and set in large grounds in the countryside. Elegant, yet not overblown. Definitely upmarket, without the air of snobbery. She liked it, and typically the kind of place she had hoped it would be. He always did chose places well she thought to herself, with a smile as she remembered some of the places they had met at before. As the car crunched away on the gravel, she gazed at her surroundings. She felt a familiar hand slip into hers and squeeze gently.“Hey you, come on, lets go and check in, I want you to see the room” She felt the gentle pull on her arm as Jack started towards the steps up to the entrance of the hotel. As they walked up the steps, Sophie looked backwards and felt the rush of excitement. She knew this was going to be amazing.
