As we sat in the evening sun I told her about my life, and how I had come to be single in my 40’s, she seemed very interested in talking about my love life. I eventually managed to turn the conversation to her and asked her about herself. She told me that when she was younger she was married to a man that whilst wealthy and handsome, was in many ways very controlling of her. After his death she bought her house and ultimately met her new husband. They married about 5 years ago and the next bit made me pause. She told me that they had a very special type of relationship and liked to entertain. She continued to tell me that Chris, her husband worked away often and was considerably younger than her, being in his mid 50’s. We decided to have one more drink and then we would head to bed. Whilst Claire went to mix the drinks, I nipped to the toilet. When I returned the drinks were placed on the table and I noticed that the chairs were closer together than before. I thought nothing of it and took my seat. Claire continued to tell me more about Chris, and repeated a few times that Chris would definitely like me. As the evening grew darker and the last drink came to an end, I thanked my host and stood up to head inside. Claire stood up after me and I could tell she was a little wobbly due to the Gin. I offered my arm for her to guide her inside. She took my arm and with her other arm she brushed against my chest and down to my groin. It was a fleeting touch, but she smiled, with a glint in her eye and we went inside, and I went to my room. |
