Part 1
Ally stared out the window, lost in her own thoughts she never heard her husband enter the Kitchen. “I’m off Ally” Ally jumped and span around spotting Evan her husband pulling a bottle of water out the fridge, dressed in chequered trousers, a polo shirt and bright yellow sweater he looked ridiculous and she had to bite her tongue to stop herself from laughing out loud.
“Your playing golf again?” Ally questioned knowing full well that’s where he was going, ignoring her question Evan continued to pack his golf bag. Watching her husband she wondered where the man she married had gone, he no longer had six pack abs, dark hair, and eyes that only shone for her. Now he had a beer belly, greying hair, dull eyes and a bad attitude, the only time he seemed happy was when he went to play “golf” or at least that’s what he told me he was doing and I allowed him to continue this lie, allowing him to believe that I was stupid enough not to know he was fucking a women from work.
“Yes, I’m playing golf today, you know it’s the Only thing that makes me happy these days” snapping me out of my thoughts I couldn’t help but feel hurt by his words, but I smiled at him, “of course Evan, whatever makes you happy”.
Looking at me with a blank expression he looks me up and down before stating “Don’t forget the gardener is due this morning, you might want to get dressed, doubt he’d want to see you dressed like that”. And with that he was out the door no kiss, no goodbye, just his look of disgust.
I couldn’t help but stick my middle finger up at his departing back, I knew it was childish but damn did it feel good. I finished my coffee and headed upstairs to get dressed, yes I knew I had put on weight over the years but I still had my hourglass figure, long hair, I kept myself manicured, waxed and looking good for him, not that he’d noticed in fact it had been nearly a year since he made any sexual advices towards me and even then he was so d*unk he called me the wrong name then fall asleep before even getting his trousers off. |
