Met a couple of guys off here a few weeks ago ... they used a small anesthetiser cream on the tip but then proceeded to use things other than sounding rods ... like a slither of ginger 
I tried it a while ago but drew a little blood so haven't bothered again .... Be careful OP |

I've tried it in a minor way. Quite enjoy it.
Done sensibly and no urge to keep going for a bigger one.
The detractors kind of miss the point, it's kinda like the good feeling you get peeing. Like vibrators, you don't need to go for a giant one.
Also interesting when you cum but the spunk can't get out...
