You wouldn’t be committing any crime. I’m thinking at 22 you are an adult and can decide for yourself who you enter into relations with.
From a father’s point of view surely you would want your child to be safe and happy. If it was me I would want to know they’re legit. If it was in an adult context then what they do is their business as adults. |

Wouldn’t it depend on the context ? If Dad’s mate knew said daughter as a child and was like an Uncle to her then that’s a different kettle of fish entirely so would be inappropriate because of the connection. If however he’s only known her as an adult then that’s different. |

Define the word Mate ? Are you meaning life long close family friend or a casual mate ?

Yes you are both consenting adults but if you need to ask then your not much of a friend if you are thinking about it.
If I had a daughter and my friend was thinking that then I'm sure he'd not be a friend for long and daughter probably not be talking to me |

Is it worth potentially loosing a friendship over? Would it be just sex or do you see it going further?
